Polished by the Rain
Charcoal drawing in charred artist-built frame, which aside from some structural lumber is created from wood the artist collected by hand while walking through the woods of Upstate New York with the majority of the split wood pieces coming from a single tree which fell over Winter and was discovered in Spring and then cut to length with a chainsaw, split with an axe and shaped with a knife and mallet, alongside branches and sticks used as the artist found them, the artist built the frame in the location the fallen tree was found.
